Articles #17, #18 and #19: The
Ghost Writer/ Zansetsu Hirata/ The Night Butterfly:
They receive a call from someone in need of their service who is staying in a hotel called “Nanagase Hot Springs”. Roji and Muhyo along with Nana, decide to go investigate. While they wait for Mr. Yontani, they decide to take a bath in the relaxing springs. The first impression they receive from Mr. Yontanji is that he is a perverted ‘peeping tom’ since he was looking at Nana while she took a bath. He later explains that he’s been staying in that inn for about half a year, and has been writing at nights… only that he doesn’t remember having written anything. The writing style and scenes are different from what he would have thought of but that’s how the book “The Night Butterfly”, a best-seller, was written. He came to the conclusion that he is possessed by a ghost writer. Later that night Nana and Roji are doing watch over Yontani, but Roji decides to go downstairs to bring the used plates… what did Roji find out?

#23: Artificer Biko/ The Landing/ Into the Arcanum/ The Mad Planter:
Another old classmate of Muhyo arrives: artificer Biko. The artificers are ones that make the tools of the Magic Law trade such as: books, pens and wards. And their methods are secrets. Biko has a great problem, one of Biko’s magic locks used in the Arcanum, a magic prison where they keep the most powerful and dangerous spirits, has been broken. Receiving reports of this, Biko decided to seek help from both of them before going to the Arcanum. In there they meet Rio Kurotori, another artificer and the creator of Muhyo’s book, but they also learn what’s been happening inside with the guarding judges. Will they make it down to the Arcanium? Or will they receive attacks from other monsters?
